Don't Try to Make Money Online When You're in Hungry Mode by Carolyn Bethea

Ever hear the old adage "Don't go shopping when you're hungry"? Why? Because you'll buy things you don't need and spend way more than you intended. Everything will appeal to you and you'll look for the quick fix to stop the hunger.

Same thing applies to people looking for money making opportunities on the internet. Many people are turning to the internet looking for another source of income to supplement their income to help pay expenses or even replace income lost due to unemployment or illness. Many of them are in "desperate mode" or "hunger" mode; they need something that will help them make money fast.

When you're desperate, you make poor decisions. You are tempted to spend way more money than you can afford with the hope that this opportunity will make you huge amounts of cash and your problems will be solved. When you're desperate, your common sense goes out the window. You fail to listen to those little warning bells that tell you that this opportunity is just too good to be real. You fail to research because you need something, and you need it now, the aroma of money can be enticing. You need something that will relieve the hunger and the desperation.

It's like grocery shopping when you're hungry. Why do you think they put the bakeries to the back and side of the store, because you have to pass through the store to get to that tempting aroma, your mouth is watering, you're hungry, and wouldn't a donut taste good about now. Oh look, there's a special on chocolate chip cookies, buy two get one free; that big jar of peanut butter is on sale. You start putting things in your basket you hadn't intended to buy as you make your way to that enticing aroma.

My advice to you if you're desperate for money and need it fast, don't go shopping for internet money making opportunities, find a part-time job. But if this is not an option for you, at least do it with a plan.

Focus on what you want, know how much you can afford to spend and no more. Find a program that will teach you the skills you'll need and show you how to implement them so you have a chance at making money online. Questions you should ask yourself. Is it possible to make that kind of money online with my current level of skills? What tools will I need to know to make this a possibility? Will the opportunity I'm looking at be willing to help me and show me what to do? Many people find themselves with programs they can't begin to implement, or the effort to implement them is so complicated they give up in frustration. Then it's off to another money making opportunity.

You wouldn't start a carpentry business and then learn how to do carpentry? Don't allow yourself to be fooled by that enticing money aroma.
